Alexandra N. Cayton

Alex Cayton is an Associate Attorney at Pierce Coleman PLLC. Alex's practice focuses on defending both public and private employers facing lawsuits involving all areas of employment law.

Alex earned her Juris Doctorate from Arizona State University’s Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law. She served as an Associate and Executive Editor for Jurimetrics, The Journal of Law, Science, and Technology. Notably, her Journal Comment, “All Sunshine and Rainbows? An Assessment of Solar Mandates as New Way to Propel Solar Development,” was published in the Summer 2022 issue of Jurimetrics.

While attending law school, she gained extensive practical experience through internships at a local city attorney's office and several Arizona law firms, including a summer intern position at Pierce Coleman. Before law school, Alex graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice Studies from the University of Arizona. Alex is a proud Phoenix resident, having called it her home her entire life. Outside of the office, she enjoys exploring the diverse culinary scene in Arizona.
